Second Friday Social: Activity, Karaoke & Potluck
A rotating social night with casual activities, open karaoke, and shared food.
Second Friday of each month | 7:00–10:00 PM
The evening usually begins with an open group activity, such as trivia, music bingo, a PowerPoint party, or something similar. Before transitioning into open YouTube karaoke for the rest of the night.
Throughout the evening, the event doubles as a potluck. People come to participate in the activities, sing a song or two, share food, and spend time together in a relaxed, social setting. Participation in any part of the night is optional, and many people move in and out of activities as the evening goes on.
Supporting DFW Young & Social Club
This is a potluck-style event. To attend, each guest is asked to bring a dish or drink to share — homemade or store-bought are both welcome. If you arrive without something, you’re welcome to step out briefly and grab an item nearby before joining in.
The event is free to attend but we recommend a minimum donation of $5. Each contribution helps cover shared costs such as music licensing, utensils, cleaning, and general event upkeep. Here’s how different contribution levels help support what we do:
$5 Covers the cost of one person
$5–$9 Helps sustain our free / pay-what-you-can model and pays it forward for someone else,
$10+ Supports the space, keeps things accessible, and helps our community grow,
