Learn to sew a real wearable garment from scratch in this beginner friendly two-part class led by instructor Danielle.
Part 1 (July 19) covers reading a sewing pattern, laying out and cutting your fabric, and getting comfortable stitching with your machine.
Part 2 (July 26) is all about finishing your seams, testing the fit, and making adjustments until it feels just right.
Registration covers both sessions and both days are required to complete the project.

What we provide: Pattern, elastic, cutting tools, and notions
What you are required to bring: Your own sewing machine, fabric, and thread. If making pants bring 3 yards of fabric, if making shorts bring 2 yards. Suggested fabrics include cotton, linen, flannel, gingham, chambray, poplin, or seersucker.
