Join us for a hands-on Life Skills session focused on the fundamentals of simple construction using a hammer and nails. In this class, we’ll apply those skills by building a basic birdhouse from start to finish.
Led by long-time DFW Young & Social member and Realtor, Rusty Ahmadi, this session is designed to make basic construction feel approachable and manageable. You’ll learn how to handle tools safely, align materials properly, and understand the core principles behind small wood projects. No prior experience is needed. This is beginner-friendly and structured to build confidence.

Instruction on foundational hammer-and-nail construction
A completed birdhouse to take home
