Beginner Crochet Class: Magic Circles

  • DFW Young and Social Club 2309 Springlake Road Suite 600 Farmers Branch, TX, 75234 United States (map)

Curious about crochet but not sure where to begin? This beginner friendly class will guide you through the essential skills you need to get started. You will learn how to hold your hook, form your first stitches and practice the rhythm of beginner crochet. We will also introduce the magic circle, a helpful foundation technique used in many projects. Every participant will receive a crochet hook and a skein of yarn to take home, so you can keep practicing after class.

This session focuses on learning techniques rather than completing a finished project, which makes it perfect for true beginners. Experienced fiber art fans are welcome to join for practice and creative time.

Price: $20 per person (includes hook and skein to take home)
